Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Prachanda today claimed that regressive forces were active to disrupt the elections to the Constituent Assembly (CA). He also expressed the commitment of holding the elections coping with any kind of problem in the scheduled date.
Chairman Prachanda who was at teaching hospital Maharajgunj to express tribute at the death of his party cadre Rajendra Banjade, also said it was time for all to go ahead with patience. Banjade who was critically injured in a clash that took place between the cadres of Maoist and UML in Arghakhachi district on Friday died in the hospital last night while undergoing treatment.
Instructing party cadres to converge concentration to the CA elections with patience, chairman Prachanda also urged the government to probe into the accident and penalize the convicted culprits.
On the occasion, UML secretary general Madhav Kumar Nepal also condemned the incident urging party activists to be sensitive not to let such incidents happen.
