Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Prachanda has reiterated the commitment of enforcing the understanding made in the pasts to consolidate the coordination reached with the seven political parties. Prachand has assured that the enforcement of the agreement would be an inevitable condition of his party.
Chairman Prachanda said that party would firmly enforce the agreement of rehabilitating displaced people, returning seized land and assisting arms management process as per the essence of peace accord. He has also instructed party lines to implement this decision stating that the process would be carried through formulating time table.
Issuing a press statement on Thursday, Prachanda also instructed not to use force that would go against party policy. "The committees of all level have been instructed to make special effort to stop the incidents of use of force against party policy and peaceful political competition" Prachanda said in the statement.
Prachanda has strongly demanded the release of prisoners, disclosure of the whereabouts of disappeared individuals, and feeding People's Liberation Army (PLA).
Supremo Prachand also accused the government of lacking initiative in fulfilling people's 'reasonable demands'. Urging the government to hold the Constituent Assembly Polls in the stipulated deadline of mid June, Prachanda warned that the government would be responsible of any unfavorable consequences if the election would not be held within stipulated time.
