President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has appealed for national unity to realize dream of constructing a new Nepal into reality.
He also appealed to maintain communal goodwill among the people of all the regions stating that the existence of Nepal is only possible in the essence of being 'Nepali'.
Delivering the first official address to the nation on Sunday, President Dr. Yadav said, “All the people living in mountainous, hilly and terai regions are Nepali whatever the language they speak."
The president stressed on the need to maintain sovereignty and territorial integrity.
President Dr. Yadav said it was opportunity for Nepali people to transform the state establishing lasting peace and rule of law.
President Dr. Yadav also underscored the need of united efforts of political parties, Nepal Police, Nepal Army, professionals and people of all walks of life to bring nation ahead.
