Doctors involving in the medical treatment of Crown Prince Paras at Norvic Hospital have said he is out of danger. Crown Prince Paras was rushed to Norvic Hospital , Thapathali Kathmandu after he suffered heart attack Thursday morning.
Paras who was rushed to the hospital at around 11.35 in a green ambulance registered as 5229 belonging to Nepalese Army is being attended to by a team of doctors led by senior cardiologist Dr Bharat Rawat at Norvic hospital.
King Gyanendra and Queen Komal have also reached Norvic Hospital from Nagarjuna palace after they were informed about Paras's health.
Doctors at the hospital have performed angioplasty on Crown Prince Paras late afternoon on Thursday. The doctors have also diagnosed him with high cholesterol, and moderately high blood pressure.
Norvic Hospital physician Dr. Shyam Bahadur Pandey and Dr Kishore Rana had decided shift Prince Paras to the Norvic Hospital after they were called to Prince Paras's residence at the Nirmal Niwas as he complained of chest pains.
At a press conference in the hospital, Dr Pandey said the Crown Prince is out of danger. However, he also informed that Crown Prince will have to be hospitalized at least for another five days including two days in the ICU.
