Govt. to bring new policy to compensate loss in NOC

Finance Minister Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat has said the government was working out for special policy to compensate the loss facing Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).

Speaking at face to face in Reporters Club today, Minister Mahat also informed that the government was adjusting the price of petroleum products in par with international market. Minister Mahat said it was all set to endorse a bill that keeps provision of handing over responsibility of oil supply to the private sector.

Revenue soars

On the Same occasion Minister Mahat informed that the country was seeing a remarkable economic growth in current fiscal year. He said the revenue increased by 21 percent during the year. He also said agricultural productions and tourist arrivals were also on rise.
