Conflagration victims in refugee camps get relief

The Bhutanese refugees affected in the conflagration of refugee camps of Beldangi in Jhapa, a district of eastern Nepal have been allocated the relief materials. The relief was distributed in the initiative of Nepal FM and Bhutan News Service.

The affected refugees have been provided one thousand seven pieces of clothes and Rs. 29 thousand in cash including other food stuffs on the witness of the representatives of Nepal FM, Bhutan News Service, representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee in Nepal, and other different organizations.

Addressing the function, the Managing Director of Saptakoshi FM Krishna Dahal appealed all the people to assist the victims of such disasters.

Likewise, TP Mishra, the Editor of Bhutan News Service drew attention of concerned authorities to make the arrangement of fire quenching equipments in order to prevent possible incidents of similar nature.

At least four hundred refugees had been displaced from the conflagration triggered in the camp on October 29.
