The government Saturday has decided to form a ministerial-level talks committee to resolve the agitation of the teacher's of private boarding schools.
Ministry of Education spokesperson Laba Prasad Tripathi Saturday said that ministerial-level talks committee would formed once the Education Minister Pradeep Nepal returns from foreign trip.
The agitating teachers had refused to sit for talks with the secretary level committee formed by the government.
The government had formed an under-secretary-level panel to hold talks with the agitating teachers in a bid to
resolve their problems.
The agitating private school teachers affiliated to the Nepal Education Republic Forum – who have announced an indefinite nationwide closure of schools since Thursday – has left hundreds of thousands of students to home and the closure of boarding schools across the nation.
