Employees demand security in Terai

Citing the failure of the government to provide security arrangements to the officials working in terai region of the country, the employees of local bodies in Parsa have iterated their stance of not returning to work until the government ensures the security arrangement to them.

Speaking at a meeting chaired by Chief District Officer Bimal Prasad Dhakal, Chairman of VDC Secretaries welfare Forum Mohammad Ilias Ansari demanded to make the commendable arrangement of security to the employees.

In the meeting, almost all the participants had appealed the employees to resume the official activities at the earliest. The representatives of civil-society and leaders of different political parties had also taken part in the meeting.
