Indian envoy discusses Terai issue with PM

Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shanker Mukherjee Wednesday met and discussed the latest political development of Nepal including Terai issue with Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter’s residence at Baluwatar this morning.

Baluwatar sources said, the prime minister and the envoy had serious discussions regarding the threat caused to the people of hill- origin following a teacher's killing by Terai Janatantrik Mukti Morcha-Goit men on Tuesday.

In addition, PM Koirala and Mukherjee also have been learnt to have discussed management of Maoist combatants.
