Incidents of abduction escalated in Siraha

Unidentified armed group has abducted Dhirendra Dev (35) of Shivahariya Village Development Committee (VDC) in Saptari, an eastern district of Nepal on Thursday while he was residing in his own house.

However, none of the group has taken the responsibility of the abduction.

The incidents of abduction have escalated few days back in Siraha. The condition of five persons including a women abducted within a week back is still unknown. The abducted include Gangai Das of Malekpur, Sushila Shardar of Bathnaha, Chandra Narayan Mandal of Barsanai VDC.

Likewise, the condition of Sailesh Singh, Principle in a local school who was abducted on Thursday has still gone missing. His condition is also still unknown.

The families of the abducted persons have appealed the human right organizations as well as civil society to take initiation to free the abducted persons.
