With having been appeared by 3,79,377 students, the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination 2064 kicked off throughout the country from today.
The students appeared English subject today. Office of Examination Control (OEC) has set 1,2,99 examination centers throughout the country.
Some 24,000 students from Kathmandu district appeared for this year’s exams at the 65 centers. District Education Officer of Kathmandu Dhurba Nath Gautam said that the number of exam centers have been increased as compared to previous years to facilitate the students.
Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Jaya Mukunda Khanal informed that security personnel have been assisting in the transportation of the question papers and answer sheets to the respective centers.
The SLC exams this year had been brought forward by one and a half weeks due to the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections.
