SLC examination to be held from March 17, 2008

The examination of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) is to be held from March 17, 2008. A board meeting of the Office of the Examination Control held today took the decision to finalize the exam with March taking under consideration to the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

The SLC examination was pushed towards uncertainty due to the delay in announcing the CA elections date. The examination board decided to hold examination from March 17 after the government confirmed that the elections would be held within Mid April.

Examination Controller Harka Prasad Shrestha informed that the time table of the examination would be announced within a few days. According to the Office of the Examination Control, 4,10000 student will appear in the examinations.
