Speaker Nembang urges parties and govt. to concentrate on CA polls

Speaker of the interim parliament Subash Chandra Nembang has said that the political parties must close the issue of army integration in order to concentrate on holding Constituent Assembly (CA) polls by mid-April.

During a program organized by the Press Chautari in Rupandehi today morning, Nembang suggested the top leaders to find an outlet of the issue in a closed-door discussion rather than through public statements. Nemwang cited the issue being highly sensitive. Speaker Nembang further said integration of army was unavoidable.

Nemwang also urged the parties and the government to address ongoing political turmoil in the Terai region of the country.
