Stop intimidation, asks Minister Poudel to Maoists

Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Ram Chandra Poudel has appealed the Maoists to stop intimidation and threats to the people.

Speaking at an inauguration program of national conference for improvement of cooperative sector organized in the capital city today, Minister Poudel further accused the Maoists for maintaining dual standard on the issue of monarchy. He said that the activities of Maoists were promoting the regressive elements.

Poudel also said that the monarchists were trying to benefit themselves from the prolonged transitional phase of the nation.

Speaking on the same occasion, Bam Dev Gautam leader of CPN-UML alerted the political parties towards the possible consequences that the nation could to face if Constituent Assembly poll was not held within mid-April.
