MPs charges Sujata Koirala of violating constitution.

Citing the remarks of Sujata Koirala to be in favor of monarchy, members of Parliament other than Nepali Congress have asked clarification of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala in this regard.

Speaking at the special hour of on Wednesday's session, Birodh Khatiwoda, the leader of CPN-UML, asked the PM to either clarify its formal position on Sujata's remarks or immediately dismiss her from the cabinet.

Likewise, Lila Mani Pokheral of People's Front Nepal asked the government to clarify its position regarding her views on the monarchy.

Maoist MPs Amrita Thapa, Shanta Shrestha and Padam Lal Biswokarma charged Sujata of being a monarchist and demanded the immediate action against her.
