Sushila Koirala dies at 84

Sushila Koirala, wife of late Bisheswhor Prasad Koirala, an elder brother of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, passed away at the age of 84 Friday morning.

She was suffering from hear-related diseases for a long time.

Late Koirala, who was undergoing treatment at the capital’s Om Hospital, passed away at arround 9:15 this morning.

Koirala’s body has been kept at her Maharajgunj residence to pay the last tribute to her.

PM Koirala and other larders of Nepali Congress reached at her Maharajgunj residence this morning to pay the last tribute to her.

Leaders of other political parties, family members and other well wishers too have reached Maharajgunj to pay their last tribute to late Koirala.

She is survived by three sons – Prakash Koirala, Dr Shri Harsha Koirala and Shashank Koirala – and a daughter Chetana Koirala.
