PM instructs laborers to concentrate on CA elections

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has appealed laborers to concentrate themselves in forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.

Addressing a gathering organized to declare unification of two factions of congress affiliated laborers' organizations-Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC) and Nepal Democratic Trade Union Federation (NDTUF) in capital city Kathmandu today, the PM also urged help democratic forces win the CA elections.

PM Koirala expressed his commitment to lead CA elections towards success. Stating that unification of trade unions was an important step, PM Koirala also instructed laborers to implement the essence of unification and not to confine unification as just a codified document.

On the occasion, senior leader of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba said CA elections were urgent to consolidate the democracy.
