No alternative of meeting Maoist's demand, Concludes UML

One of the powerful allies in the coalition government CPN-UML has concluded that the demands of CPN-Maoist should be met to succeed Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
 
Standing committee meeting of UML held on Friday concluded that the CA election without Maoist's participation would be worthless. It also said there was no alternative of addressing Maoist's demands of fully proportional electoral system and declaration of republic through interim legislature parliament.
 
The standing committee meeting held today to identity party's stand in a seven party meeting slated on the same day, the UML concluded that Maoist's demands should  be met at the earliest.
 
Standing committee member Jhalanath Khanal said the UML would put the conclusion drawn from the meeting in seven party meeting.  He also said the meeting also stressed on the need to maintain understanding and unity in the alliance.
 
According to him, the meeting also discussed about election candidates name lists sent from districts and zones.
