VDC secretaries displaced

Citing the cause of insecurity, Village Development Committee Secretaries in Kapilvastu district have been displaced from their respective work places.

Twenty one secretaries from the southern part of Kapilvastu district have returned to the Office of District Development Committee and this number is likely to rise.

Chairman of VDC Secretaries Welfare Committee Daya Prasad Ghimire said the threats of forceful donation and abduction from different armed groups led them to displace from their work places.

The Secretaries complained that even though they were paying donations to the wings of different political parties and other groups for a long time, huge amounts of donation was ever had not been asked yet as now.
