Dabur closes green house nursery

Management of Dabur Nepal has locked the green house nursery at Janagal Kavre from Sunday. The management hasn’t shown any reason to close the nursery.

“The green house was closed after we put our demands”, workers said. Workers had demanded to give them permanent appointment, avail them with identity card, and to provide the clothing as per the season. They had set a deadline of April 15 to fulfill their demands.

In the sixteenth day, without showing any obvious reason the management locked the green house nursery, said Srijana, chairperson of workers union.

“We will go to the labour office”, she added. There are 80 women workers in the nursery.
