As a part of contribution to upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls, famous world cyclist Pushkar Shah led a rally in Kathmandu on Saturday. Shah has already recorded paddling of 1,71,000 kilometer. Accompanied by around one hundred participants, Shah led the rally with the slogan of "First infrastructure for lasting peace, Constituent Assembly (CA) is our rights." 

The cycle rally that started from Maiti Mandala at 11 am passed through several parts of the city and concluded at Basantapur palace. The World Cyclist Foundation organized the rally.

Renowned cyclist Shah had returned Nepal a few weeks back after paddling more than 1,71,000 Km on his bicycle crossing the boarders of 114 countries. Shah said he has planned to ascend Mt. Everest with the flags of 150 countries.

Being adventurer, Shah has also contributed to Nepal's tourism. He is also a Nepalese peace and democracy activist who started his journey from November 28, 1998.
