Office of the Election Commission (EC) has publicized reviewed schedule of new programs pertaining to the candidacy nomination regarding Constituent Assembly (CA) elections making a few changes to that of the schedule  publicized earlier.

The EC reviewed the programs following a request of the government to extend the deadline for the submission of closed lists of the candidates for the elections based on proportional electoral system and filing of candidacies based on first-past-the-post system. 

The EC has opened submission of closed lists for one day on Sunday from 10 am to 5 am. Similarly, the EC has fixed date of  March 6 for the filing of  candidacy nominations.
